Impet is one of the first companies, created using foreign capital in post-Soviet Belarus. Impet was organised on the basis of All-Union Research Institute of Packaging Problems in 1991.

From the early beginning Impet was a versatile company that worked in different directions. We have designed modern technological equipment for producing packaging, produced crown corks, and have been engaged in lots of other commercial projects.

Until 2002 one of the priority-driven directions was developing and producing equipment for effective utilising of low-grade fuel. For ten years Impet has installed gasmisers in 121 towns and inhabited localities in Belarus. The total amount of Impet's gasmisers being used exceeds 380.

At the present moment the priority directions of our business is software development and hand knitting - "newest technologies together with old traditions" as General Director Ivan Davydik says.

From 1992 Impet carries out orders of hand knitting for Western European and Northern American customers. We have experience in knitting sweaters, hats, shawls, cardigans, and much more. Impet software department was organised in 1997 and has grown from a team of three programmers to a full-fledged department able to fulfil any small and medium size projects, using modern technologies and standardised development processes. Impet software department has fulfilled a number of serious outsourcing projects of developing Windows applications. Today together with Windows development we actively evolve web sites and applications development.

By its 10-year anniversary Impet stays a successful company possessing a building and employing many of high-qualified staff.
